Entrance to Major
It is important for you to understand the Entrance-to-Major (ETM) process to help you avoid missing the opportunity to qualify for your intended major. ETM does not happen automatically. You must actively request your intended major once you have completed the required number of cumulative credits at Penn State and have scheduled or completed required ETM courses.
My Current pre-major status is:
- ENGR_PMAJ or ENGAE_PMAJ
- ENTRN_PMAJ
- ENALT_PMAJ
- I am a Penn State student (non-transfer) in a different college
- I am a Penn State (transfer) student in a different college
