Academic Support

The Penn State College of Engineering offers advising and support services to undergraduate College of Engineering students. To support students in the academic progress, the College offers opportunities seeking academic help, major exploration, assistance with understanding College and University policies and procedures, and additional resources for our underrepresented students

As an academically rigorous institution of higher learning, Penn State provides a wealth of tutoring resources both free and at a cost to students. Some options are University-wide and others are specific to the College of Engineering, such as the Academic Excellence Center.

The Women in Engineering program facilitates academic success through actively promoting an equitable and productive environment in the College of Engineering.

Throughout the year, the Multicultural Engineering Program contributes to the success of students through academic and career development programs and support.

Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Honor Society, promotes scholarship, community service, professional development, and social interaction among its members.
